1. Need If you are going to do MBA, you must take GMAT. Almost all business schools require GMAT scores. Non-business graduate schools tend to require the GRE exam (and if applicable one of the GRE subject tests). For doctoral studies in business field, either GRE or GMAT is acceptable.
2. Type of Test Basically it is CAT, which means that the computer screen adjusts questions according to student’s skill. So it is comparatively more reliable. 3. Format It consists of sections like Quantitative Section(45 minutes) Data Sufficiency-analyze a problem and determine if the information provided is relevant and sufficient to answer the problem.
